Bible III - 11th Grade

Mr. Bader; Bible III Syllabus

This is a new course that is being developed and it will focus on five main areas. These areas are the Bible, culture, history, practical application, and making life-shaping decisions. The Bible section will touch on the overall content of the Bible story, God’s purpose behind the story, and our connection to that story. The culture section will address how culture affects us, how culture impacts our view of God and others, and how to interact and respect other cultures as we reach out to them. The History section will address how God has continued his purpose and plan throughout history after the Bible was written, lessons we can learn from the challenges, successes, and shortcomings of people in the past and how we can apply those lessons to our world today. The practical section will focus on how to connect with God and live out a life that is God focused. Finally the life-shaping decisions section wills how to use our use our resources and abilities to honor God and make good choices regarding our future careers.
